Mike Hinkens and Jeff Dowhen ESPN Edit
Check out this new Edit!
Grant C. Filmed and Edited this. Here is his description: "To avoid the Wisconsin winter, myself and Madera's Jeff Dowhen and Mike Hinkens headed south to the BMX safe haven of Austin, Texas. Because of everyone's schedules with work and school, we were only able to be away for a little under a week. This edit is the product of about four days of riding. In a town where so many things have been done, it can be hard to film but these guys didn't have much of a problem finding different ways to look at some heavily sessioned spots. Thank you to everyone who showed us around and to Walter Pieringer for giving us a place to stay."

SNEAK PEEK: NEW MADERA TOPLOAD STEM!
Well here it is! The first prototype of our new Madera Topload stem. The team is presently testing these out to make sure they are just as awesomely built as our other stems and they will be out soon.
Nothing is in stone yet, but, rumors are:
- Just as light as the Profile Push Stem
- A nice and tall bar location (taller than the Push?!?) to make your bars sit higher
- A reach size somewhere in the middle of most to fit the needs of man

Bryce Toole - Adventures and some clips!
Bryce Toole just hit me up with an update on his unique and adventure filled life. He has been doing some wild stuff and riding as well. Here is what he had to say:
"The start of 2012 has been great!! Here at school (Asbury University) in Wilmore, Ky. and enjoying life!! I have been busy with classes and really diggin' it. I am taking a few Equine courses and that has been interesting. We went out to a farm the other day and caught two colts, one of which I am going to be training the rest of the semester.
"It is really neat working with the horse day in and day out and get to see the relationship grow between human and animal. Went to Rays Mountain Bike park in Cleveland Ohio the other weekend with some buds and had a heck of a time!! Hope you guys enjoy the photos!! God Bless"
- Bryce
Check out some raw footage he sent over of him riding in his local area as well as at Ray’s Ohio:

Q & A - Can I convert my Madera hub to a 3/8ths axle?
QUESTION:
Can I convert my Madera hub to a 3/8ths axle?
ANSWER:
-Profile Mini rear, Profile Totem rear, and the Madera V-2 rear are all compatible.
-The same goes for Profile Mini front, Totem front, and Madera Pilot front hubs.
The Madera V2 Cassette hub uses the same internals as the Profile BMX hubs, you can switch from the 14mm to the 3/8, or the 3/8 to the 14mm. (The original Madera Dexter rear hub is not convertible to anything other than 14mm.)
-Each of these hubs can take any of our 14mm or 3/8 axle conversion kits. Make sure that you buy an axle specifically for the front or rear when converting.
So, if you are currently riding any of the above hubs in 14mm and would like to convert it to 3/8: A 3/8 axle conversion kit is all you need. http://profileracing.com/estore/product.php?productId=231&categoryId=19 Keep in mind that your existing hub body bearings and driver will convert over on any of the above hubs.
Here are links to detailed how-to’s for each conversion:
